Empowering Families for a Brighter Future
Our mission is to seek and develop appropriate avenues to resolve the homeless crisis by fostering independence and empowerment.

Making it Possible to End Homelessness was founded in 1987 in New Brunswick New Jersey as a way to increase local services and resources for the homeless. In the beginning, Making it Possible consisted solely of volunteers who were represented by local advocates and clergy from Middlesex County. Through our efforts we were able to bring together mainstream public and private agencies to advocate on behalf of the homeless. In 1988, Making it Possible introduced the concept of transitional housing to central New Jersey, giving families a stable place to live while they prepare for their new lives free from homelessness.
