The Gift of Caring

Each year, more than 30 families come to Making It Possible to end Homelessness (MIPH) looking for a loving, learning and caring environment for themselves and their children.

When each family arrives they have been homeless for at least three months – they need all the staples for their new apartment – their new home!

MIPH has one goal “to end homelessness one family at a time.” Be a part of the solution – support MIPH and our families.

A child’s dreams can only begin when they have a safe living environment. When a child goes to sleep with a full stomach and a blanket they can dream a vision of the future.

When a family moves into Amandla Crossing or Imani Park they are coming to us because they and their children are homeless. They need everything that makes an apartment safe, clean and healthy – including a mop and broom and bucket.

Remember when you were a child getting ready to go to bed? Oh, the fun we would have. We would read, and think about the games we had played that day, talk to imaginary friends. We felt safe and cared for. Our bedding package includes one set of sheets, two pillow cases and one blanket.
